Gary Powell is vice-president of Powell Appraisers & Consultants. A lifelong resident of the Virginia Peninsula, Gary obtained his Real Estate Sales Licenses in 1975. He became a full time appraiser in 1986, specializing in single family homes. Gary is a long-standing member of the Appraisal Institute and obtained his SRA designation in 1991. He presently holds a Certified Residential Appraisers License, serves on the VA panel and began appraising for HUD/FHA in 1986. Gary, and his brother Wayne established Powell Appraisers & Consultants in 1992, after working for its predecessor company for several years. Gary is also a member of the National Association of Realtors, Peninsula Real Estate Board and Williamsburg Real Estate Board.
